what would people think

hi

i am a frequent visitor to the nottz strip

i work at a hotel grantham side of bingham on the a52 and was discussing ideas with the manager

what would people think to another location similar to mfn on a sunday night
small entry fee per car
food available in the hotel

we have a very large carpark perfect for car meets

obviously this wouldnt be as bigger meets as mfn as its not famous but was just an idea we came up with

please let me know what people think

like the idea, need somewhere different and new, mfn is crap now!

yeah need to get views from loads of people as in what they would want to be offered

might help if you made it a saturday night aswell mate as then its not clashing with mfn and i dare say most people probably havent got work on a sunday so wont mind staying a bit later.i dont think people expect much, just somewhere nice to meet up and have a look round other cars whilst being able to get a drink. also its not that far from nevo so maybe a convoy could be sorted to go back down towards nevo at a certain time. good luck wiv this mate

well at the moments its just an idea in the pipeline we are thinking of nnew ways to get the place busy and as there seems to be more and more cops down nevvo this sprung to mind it has close links to most of the local major towns and cities

Having a meet is the easy bit, the hard part is getting the members to have respect for the hotel and guests. As this could have a detrimental effect on the business, last thing I would like to see on arriving at a hotel is a gang of car enthusiasts hanging around the car park or even finding it hard to park at te hotel I was staying at...

Your idea is of a sound nature and with make a few ££ for the hotel, but it may also loose a few more £££, if it does have the above effect.

You and your manager need to think long and hard on this one….. you need to think of a unique way of promoting this and keeping if away from the public… so everyone wins

sounds good in theory you could make it a limited amount of people allowed & by doing a names only night to see if people are intrested.try doing a poll to see who would want this.

Try it for a couple of weeks and see how it goes, mfn is closed until next year now so no doubt there would be some coin to be had it it went well.

i have been thinking about doing this more near to nottzstrip but if i was you i would advise it as you have to think if u get one idiot that messes about and causese any damage or theres a crash the hotel will be at fault if charging a fee to enter. also think about sound complaints
if you are able to do this and have some kinda control over all the cars then maybe it would work but like mfn the middle of no where is better than a hotel. intresting idea tho.

We are in the middle of nowhere but like you said we would have to have full control over the cars

Maybe if you were interested you could have a secret meet like the one you held last night where none of the donuting chazs are able to attend
Sort of a meet up and drink in the bar and maybe something to eat aswell

when i last went to there version of nevvo on a tuesday at dfs carpark there was about 4 cars

oh iv seen some pretty nice cars drivin around down ther before.
